Meet Jailyn: Soccer Extraordinaire
She's sweet
and wears these nifty pink and black soccer shoes. (....cause that's what all the serious soccer players wear..)
During her first game, Jailyn realized that soccer was a bit more challenging than looking cute in her uniform. It involved LOTS of running and even had to learn how to work with a team of new people.
And though she was the youngest (by far!) in her team, she persevered. (Even if it meant hiding in the adjacent baseball field until daddy had to go fetch her. *sigh*)
But in the end, she did come around to the game. She played defense and still managed to picked a few daisies along the way. Can't wait to see what the rest of the "Gray Shark" season brings.
